Once issued, the certificates can be downloaded online. This system eliminates the need for repeated visits to the office to check on the status of your application; you will be notified via a message or an online update once your certificate is ready.
Launched in 2008 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, this platform operates across 47 government departments and provides over 325 services. It is active in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh and has facilitated the issuance of more than 360 million (36 crore) certificates. Due to its significant success, it has been honored with government awards. By delivering services right to your doorstep, it clearly demonstrates its status as a highly successful platform.

It operates through offices in various districts. You can connect to this system via your own district simply visit your district office to avail yourself of this system.
eSathi
This is a system designed to assist individuals by logging in or registering on the platform a person can submit an application and in response obtain and save the relevant documents.
CSC
The CSC system requires you to visit the center in case you submit your applications. Staff present at the location will review your documents and determine the necessary course of action consequently. You cannot submit applications online through this system. To locate a center, avoid paying excessive fees, and steer clear of potential scams, you can refer to the official CSC guidelines, where you will receive comprehensive assistance.

eDistrict Certificates
Income Certificate
Through the certificate both you and the government can determine your annual income. It also allows the Government to identify your income resources.
Caste Certificate
This is a quota certificate for educational institutions and jobs which allows you to easily apply for positions reserved under the quota. SC/ST is for lifetime and OBC/NCL is for 3 years.
Domicile Certificate
If you reside in Uttar Pradesh, this serves as proof of your residence. You can use it for examinations (such as NEET) and to access job quotas available in the state.
Character Certificate

Birth Certificate
A birth certificate is mandatory for all types of registration. If you wish to obtain it online, you can do so through three different portals.These are eSathi,CSC and govt official portal.
Death Certificate
This certificate is essential for the transfer of property and in order to obtain insurance. It can also be easily obtained online through the relevant portal and it has no expiry date.
Family Certificate
A family certificate is required for the distribution of an inheritance. A family ID and a family certificate are quite different.Although people often mistake them for the same thing, they are actually used for different purposes.

Before you begin the registration process, you must have the following: a mobile number, an Aadhaar number, and an internet connection that allows you to use a browser.
Registration steps
- Open edistrict.up.gov.in in your chrome browser. Click on “Citizen Login(eSathi)” and it will land you on a new site. You can also search that site esathi.up.gov.in .
2. On the right hand side you can see the Login form click on “New user Registration”.
3. Create a Login Id that will consist of atleast 6-8 characters.After this click on check availability. Write your exact name,date of birth,gender,full address,pin code,district,Email ID and mobile number.
